Sybase DBA / SQL / SECRET Clearance (Hybrid – Ottawa area)

Seeking Contract Consultant – Valid Secret Clearance preferred, Reliability considered.

Ideal work week is 37.5/hrs however part-time candidates may also be considered. Some off-time hours

Initial contract will run until the end of March 2024, with the possibility of up to a further 18 months of extensions under the current procurement vehicle.

Rates are strong and competitive. Qualified candidates encouraged to apply and discuss, as there are some variables.

This exclusive mandate of ours is within a medium to small size Federal Government Agency whereby they require the services of a well-versed progressive, forward-thinking DBA with particular and hopefully recent experience with Sybase.  Experience and knowledge of SQL environments is also expected as the client is in current partial migration to the cloud mode as well dealing with technical issues while  further converting to an existing SQL Server environment, where internal strengths reside on the SQL side.  Physically, the client is located Ottawa's downtown core and Zibi, although much of the work is anticipated to be remote/WFH.
