Job Title: 5G NSA Private Wireless Core Support Specialist (Calgary/Remote)

Location: 2 roles, 1 hybrid in and around Calgary, the other Remote / Canada

Roles are envisioned to be 6 month initial contracts, then another 6-month extension and/or potentially go permanent, direct with the client. Candidates may apply if only looking for permanent right out of the gate.

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Private Wireless Core Support Specialist to join our innovative Private Wireless Network (PWN) Customer facing operations initiative. As a key member of the PWN core operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the Private 5G NSA Mobility and Network Core. This role involves close collaboration with RAN operations teams to triage and troubleshoot issues, as well as managing vendor engagements. You will act as a Tier 3 Subject Matter Expert (SME) on LTE core operations within a dedicated Private Wireless Network environment.

Key Responsibilities:

 ● Provide support for 5G NSA core operations, customer connectivity and day to day operations. ● Attend meetings, document and contribute to a knowledge base focused on operations ● Collaborate with RAN teams to triage and troubleshoot issues. ● Manage and engage with vendors. ● Serve as a Tier 3 SME on 5G NSA core operations. ● Participate in an on-call rotation. ● Lead technical meetings, integrate and coordinate with other technical teams, and act as a single point of contact. ● Perform configuration upgrades or changes and adhere to change control ● Read, Create and understand network documentation and diagrams. ● Contributing or performing PIR reports ● Some travel to Alberta including Remote Regions may be required Required Qualifications: ● Deep understanding of 5G NSA (Non-Standalone) Architecture and Technology. ● Deep understanding of 4G LTE Architecture and Technology. ● Extensive experience and knowledge of Private Wireless Core operations ● Extensive knowledge of routing, switching, and other standard network technologies. ● Understanding of 4G and 5G RAN technologies. ● Experience with Private 4G and 5G wireless networks. ● Proven experience providing Tier 3 level support and acting as an SME for Tier 1/2 teams. ● Experience in vendor engagement and support. ● Ability to lead technical meetings and coordinate with other technical teams. ● Proficiency in reading and understanding network documentation and diagrams. ● Experience directly support clients ● Experience working and presenting to Exec level teams Preferred Qualifications ● Extensive Knowledge of Nokia SROS routing and Switching ● Experience working in the energy sector ● Experience working in the mining industry

● Nokia 5G Bell Labs Professional Certification ● Nokia Cloud Packet Core Certification ● Nokia NRS-2 or Nokia SRA ● Experience working in Service NOW ● Experience with mobility toolsets (netscout, Radcom, etc)
